Our story

Our history

Heidelberg Academy High is the high-school arm of Heidelberg Academy, an independent school based in Heidelberg, Gauteng. The Academy was established to give local families a small, supportive alternative to large public schools, with a focus on individual attention and academic standards.

The high school operates from 41 Jacobs Street in Heidelberg, with a current enrolment of around 112 learners and a learner-to-educator ratio of roughly 11 to 1 — small enough that every learner is known by name.
